Linbury Prize for Theatre Design

Hannah ClarkePatrick Burnier (overall winner) from Switzerland has won the Linbury Biennial Prize for Stage Design 2005. Patrick’s designs for “Origins”, a production for Random Dance won him the much coveted award.

Designer Stefanos Lazaridis presented the prize at the National Theatre infront of a 200 strong audience made up of theatrical professionals such as Nicholas Hytner, Artistic Director of the National Theatre, Tony Hall, Chief Executive of the Royal Opera House, Monica Mason, Director of the Royal Ballet and David Lan, Artistic Director of Young Vic.

Amongst the other three winners are Hannah Clarke (Pictured) who graduated from Nottingham Trent in 2002 and has had work featured on the Scenography site in the past. www.linburybiennial.org.uk
