Theatre Design – Working Abroad is a new series of articles that covers the highs and lows of working abroad. Although we cannot provide a complete guide to working outside of your home country we hope that by presenting you with the personal experiences of a number of young designers who have successfully studied or worked abroad we can give you some idea of both the benefits to be had and the realities involved.

  1. I am interested in an international professional exchange abroad; if anyone has any clearing house resources, e.g. organizations or directories for professional internships for educators/designers, please let me know. I am especially interested in opera, new media, theatre, or film.
I have worked in the US over 19 years, mostly in film and television, and would like to explore an artistic adventure abroad!
