World Stage Design – Site Now Working

World Stage Design Director SungChul Kim has announced today that the official website is now fully operational. Visitors to Scenography started contacting us shortly after we published news of the WSD2009 application process telling us that they couldn’t find the application pages and when they did they didn’t work and that the site was still in “Beta” mode.

Announcement from SungChul Kim follows:

Dear Colleagues,

We are announcing that the WSD2009 Online Application window is now in full operation. One could submit entries by filling the required information, the digital files of one’s design works and personal C.V. as well as a valid credit card. Entries for digital/gallery exhibition can be any form of set, costume, lighting, and sound design, only realized production accepted in the period of 2004 to 2008. Participants will be able to upload the digital files through the online application system.

We would like to kindly ask OISTAT Centers, members and friends to release this information and promote the event on our behalf. We look forward to receiving entries from every interested designer all over the world.

All the best,

SungChul Kim, Ph.D.
WSD2009 Director
OISTAT Scenography Commission Chair
KTAA (OISTAT-Korea) President

We are test driving the application page. You will be able to submit the application in a week or so on http://www.wsd2009.kr.

but now when I wrote to him after several unsuccessful attempts to submit my application via wsd2009 website, all messages bounce back. What an unprofessional mess!
